Our new pharmacotherapy quality circle kicked off on March 19, 2025 with a large turnout. To kick things off, Prof. Dr. Tobias Dreischulte, Head of the Drug Therapy Safety Team, gave a well-founded impulse on the topic of polypharmacy in GP care.

In the discussion that followed, key challenges became clear: how can a balance be struck between evidence-based guidelines, the reality of care and individual patient safety? The open exchange showed how moving the topic is - and how valuable it is to look at specific cases together.

We are looking forward to the next event on June 25, when we will be discussing the use of psychotropic drugs in GP care. Again with a keynote speech, exciting cases from practice and space for collegial exchange.
