Advanced Structured Training (AST) Program

Advanced Structured Training (AST) Program for PhDs and MDs at Department of Urology and LIFE Center

AST is designed to promote PhD and MD students in their scientific education and training. All lectures can be used to obtain credits for their individual logbook, covering the 35h needed as science-specific events.

AST contained the following lecture series:

  1. Seminar: Physical and biological methods needed in medical research
    time: 1h / week (12h / semester) - online
  2. LIFE-Seminar: Worldwide well known scientific experts present their experience
    time: 1-2h / week (min 6 times / semester) – online
  3. LIFE Scientific Soft Skills
    time: 1h / week (min 6 times / semester) – online

  4. LIFE PhD/MD school: 1-2 days retreat school incl. skills training, personal presentation, session chair training.
    Organized by PhDs of LIFE center.
  5. LIFE PhD/MD science day: 15-30 min presentations of all PhD/MD on one single day.
    Organized by PhDs of LIFE center.

Certificates of attendance will be delivered upon request at the end of the semester.
